Flashed car won't start

The story goes. Working on a car last night. The car had a map in it from an unknown tuner, with unknown mods on the car. Flashed the ECU to a stock map since the car is basically in stock form now. Once the car was flashed, the car will not start. We have tested most means, but am unsure where to go from here. The things I have checked / found:

Checked all fuses. Everything checks out good.
Tested relay in engine bay on another Evo. Good.

When turning the key into the on position, the fuel pump does not prime. It doesn't run at all. Hard wired the battery straight to the pump, and the pump turns on. I have swapped ECU's also, to see if the ECU pooped. Put a stock map on the ECU and the car still won't start. At wits end. I am going to literally start yanking all fuses in the car and relays and seeing if I can hunt this down. Anyone else shed some light for me? Please don't say search either. I searched for about 3 hours and pulled up threads older than dirt. Thanks for the help.

Correct Immobilizer code is in the ECU right?? If not hope you saved the previous map if not you'll have to disable it

Correct me if I am wrong, but if the car I flashed is car 1. Car 2 is where I got the stock map. I put car 2's ECU in car 1. Did this eliminate the immobilizer in question?

You need to change the immobilizer to what it is in your car, doesn't matter what ecu it is as long as you change the immobilizer.

Found the issue. The guy had a half alarm install done. We triggered the alarm, which disabled the immobilizer. After patching the ECU for the disable, it works fine now. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

i would agree with checking the immobalizer, but if that doesn't work, check fuse number one under the hood, or whatever fuse is related to the starter or ecu. i would think changing the ecu would solve the prob becuase sometimes a flash can incidentially fry a ecu. but if it isn't the ecu, or a main bus fuse, check the terminals. make sure the bolts that hold the cables to the battery, and the cables that connect the battery to the starter and alternator.
