Gentle people, I have had to replace my HDD on my laptop due to it starting to fail, got it replaced and was still able to pull all data from the old one. I have downloaded and reinstalled the latest Ecuflash, Evoscan, ect.

Evoscan logs fine and Ecuflash seems to be fine until I try to read from the ECU. The first time you connect it pops up with a selection table where you are suppose to select your vehicle, mine pops up but it is empty...no vehicle to select from. WTF????

I have copied all my xml definition files and roms to the new installation files and have referenced it in the correct location.

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Bumping this back up. I am having the same problem. Just got a new tartrix 1.3. Latest ecuflash and my vehicle selection area is empty.

 

I would do a fresh install, try to read, then go from there.

 

Ok. I am using windows 8 btw. Any known issues with that?

 

I would try a reinstall and make sure not to install it to C:/program files(x86) try installing it in a folder on desktop and then make sure you have all the XML files, I had this same problem on my Windows 7 and it has something todo with security settings, i Ecuflash and Evoscan all in a main tuning folder on desktop and my problems went away. good luck to you!
