MAF comp. table

maby a very noobish question, but what exactly does MAF compensation table do, what does it compensate ? what happens if rising or lowering these values ?
what is this table for, if there's already MAF scaling table, to make changes in air flow readings

The MAF Comp table is sort of a VE table. Changes here only change fueling. For 2D SD, Ive only used the Rpm VE table and the MAF Comp table. RPM VE being rpm dependant, MAF Comp being airflow dependent.

MAF Scaling table changes how the MAF reads the airflow and also changes the way load is calculated. (Im pretty sure that's accurate) I do know that when only trying to adjust fueling, you dont want to mess with the scaling table.

MAF comp is like a trim, you can use it to correct for a new air filter. As mentioned it's better to adjust the comp rather than the MAF scaling, however extending the MAF scaling and adjusting the upper part of the table is a good way to get sane load levels on a big turbo with MAF

thanks guys

so, tweaking with compensation table changes the fueling right ?

and which way, dicreasing it leans and increasing richens the afr ?

also, by how much to increase/dicrease the value to make change say in 1 (one) point of afr ? from 13.5 to 14.5 for egsample

Increasing the values causes the sensor to read a greater quantity of air, so it will richen the mixture.

Also, it shouldn't read as units. that was the old scaling. Now most scale it as percentage.
