Mid RPM phantom knock

I'm currently tuning an E7, Tephra V7, 2.3L engine, tomi turbo, 272 BC cams, I've been getting constant phantom knock between 3000-5000rpm 140-240 load. Knock count reaches 8-9 & in some runs as high as 15-17! I know it's phantom because I significantly retarded ignition in that area to no avail, plus, at 17 counts a real knock would be loud audible.
What would be the best method adjusting knock control to eliminate such phantom? Should I adjust both low & mid knock multipliers?

My E7 has the same prob.
V5.10 with stock engine, just 3" full exhaust.
Have you tried the original rom with your tunned maps?

Well, I haven't started tuning yet, mods roms have the same knock control settings as the originals!

Did you also make adjustments to your fuel table in that area? If your logged timing matches your timing map, then I would say its probably your fuel map. If that doesn't help then it might be phantom knock.

I set both fuel & timing to a significantly safe settings but still got that constant knock count! I already reached the conclusion that it's phantom! My op question is how knock control is best adjusted to eliminate such phantom?

You can adjust it by using the knock multiplier. There's one for low, mid, and high rpm. You'll probably need to adjust your low and mid for the loads you listed. GL
