Hi guys, just joined and I have a question for you. I am helping a buddy tune his evo 9 and today we have run into an issue. The rom we were using has been great until today. Its about 2 degrease outside and he is hitting some sort of cut at about 10psi of boost. No CEL just what seems to be a fuel cut. Evoscan says he's hitting 159% of load out of a max of 160% at the same time it cuts, so heres my question, Will a cat-less exhaust and good intake pipes cause this? What is the highest I can safely turn up the boost cut load to? Any other info would be of great help. Thanks in advance

What rom are you using? A stock 9 rom should go to 300 load and stock fuel cut should be around 230 load.

 

You aren't logging the correct load value if max is 160. You should either set up 2-byte load or use 1byte load if you're using Tephra mod.

 

Yep figured it out, bad plugs lol but you guys got me thinking, is ther a how to on how to use evoscan with a 2006 evo mr?
