Need some tuning advice
Hey guys, just to start things off I have a 00 eclipse gt with a 6g75 engine swap in it (3.0l to a 3.8l) and I've been using ecuflash & evoscan to tune my ecu. I'm having a problem that I'm running out of ideas on and I would really appreciate it if somebody could give me some ideas or tell me what the problem is.
I've got it locked in open loop because my closed loop is really funky to drive in even with a new 02. The problem is in my throttle response and it's a tune issue with fuel I believe. In open loop, I can adjust the maf scaling to get it to richen up for WOT through redline, but when I punch the throttle, it spikes rich ~13afr (as it should with accel enrichment) and then goes lean upwards 17afr, and as rpms increase it'll creep back down to 12afr nearing redline. I have evoscan logs that show it. I'm just trying to figure out what the heck values I need to adjust in ecuflash to get this to richen up with the throttle altogether. Also, by adjusting the maf scaling to get WOT rich enough, my cruise is pig rich say 12afr at 2k rpm and 10afr at 3k rpm...
