I'm currently using a Tephra ROM that Jestr sent me but I'm having issues and would like to enter a stock ROM and map to work with. He sent me a Tephra XML file to put into the openecu/ecuflash/rommetadata/mitsubishi/evo file in which I have a ton of XML already entered there. A lot of the 8 digit ROMs and files named "evo7base" and what not. He didn't have me save the ROM or anything as I didn't know I needed to. I removed the Tephra XML file and need to know the next step as far as what needs to be in the "ROM File Directory" and "Metadata Directory" in the Options menu and how to enter them.

Would I be able to use what's already in the rommetadata/mitsubishi/evo file or do I need to download other files and/or change the extensions? I've done a lot of reading on this and it only confuses me as I don't know what these files are supposed to look like to begin with and how set everything up.

Your current version of ecuflash will have to data XML package to see the rom, however you may not be able to see a lot of the custom defined tables as you will not have a custom XML package
