Omni 4bar reading odd.
Maybe I misunderstood something here, but in my experience it is not exactly so. 4 bar MAP sensor reads 0-4 bar absolute pressure (with ambient pressure being ~1 bar. Everything else is a matter of scaling. But with correct scaling which shows you boost pressure, it will show you vacuum at idle, being -0.5...-0.6 bar (which is 0.4...0.5 bar absolute pressure in the intake manifold) for more or less stock EvoIX.

of course 100kpa of that is for vacuum so its not going to actually read up to 58psi
in absolute pressure.. so you have about 43-45psi of actual absolute pressure.
---
what i was getting at was people expect it to read the same in/hg number 100% in the log but it doesn't.. it shows it correct yes, but its not in the same style as their boost gauge which confuses them.
hope that makes sense.. i try to dumb things down so it doesn't confuse people.
like i mentioned earlier id start using a multimeter and troubleshoot from there though. sounds like theres a issue with the wiring of the vehicle. quite possibly you may need to scale the voltages different for that particular car if you cant find your short. (which i would advise against.. because if for some reason it ends up going back to normal you will be way off and hurt the engine) but it could be used for troubleshooting whats going on.

Sorry Tom, replied during a busy day at work, no malice intended in my reply, I didn't see where your response was pointed.
I scaled it around the earthing issue and buttoned up the tune. The owner is pulling out all the crap that's currently wired into the car.
I'll update when it's found.
Both mine and his are on 9055.
