has anyone got any info on scaling a set of fic 1150cc or can someone tell me how to. when i go to my scaling tab it will only go up to 770cc. it idles at 15.6.:1 and when i go under full boost its 9:1 and rolls black smoke.

thanks but how did you come up with that. i was having trouble entering a value greater than 770 but i didnt know you had to click the box and = .ive been reading your guide and absorbing the info but maybe a bit slow.lol ive also tried the entering the injector latency parameters for the fic 1150 section on your guide it idled fine @ 14.7 but at wot i was @ 12.5. i have run out of daylight today but im going to try again tomorrow. any more info would be highly appreciated. thanks so far

 

Inj. latency has very little effect on afrs during WOT. You need to make adjustments to your main high oct. maps.

 

If AFR lean (12.5:1) compared to fuel map, decriment the injector scaling.

I am guessing you were trying to hit approx 11.5:1 AFR, try 1008 for scaling and do another WOT pull.

Dont get hung-up on STFT and latency until you have your WOT an acceptable match to your fuel map AFR.

An acceptable match is something like +/- 0.4 AFR error.

This is assuming you have entered latency values that are close or have been used before.


With those injectors the probable best scaling is 991, but you cannot select that value, only 975 or 1008.
1008 will be a bit leaner than 975.

 

it wont do 991 only 975 then next is 1008 but i have 975 in now fixing to do a pull.

 

well i tried both and afrs were alright 11:1 and 10:8 could use fine tuning but idle was horrible really choppy and died at stop signs. how do i tune idle and part throttle.
