Hello, as the title says, I want to know if it possible to change my Evo 9 AUDM ROM 88580014 to an USDM 88590015? This way I will be able to use V7 and other patches.

Im using 8858 in place of 8859 go for it.

 

it's not really a AUDM rom (opposite to ecuflash definition). from what i've learned it's general market rom, GM in mitsubishi's language.

you can still use 8858 rom, there was a lot of porting work done, there's tephra's v7 set of patches for it and much more if you search.

if you really would like to use 8859 rom on your car, you'll need to disable EGR subsystem, as well as fuel temperature/pressure checks.

The thing that I still don't know is how can I use the JDM Map Sensor to log boost. While searching I saw that the others 8858 did't came with the map sensor. My car has from factory a 1 bar map sensor. What should i change besides the sensor to make it work? disable EGR?

 

disable EGR for sure, and just log boost with the proper equation in the evoscan.
