I have an evo 8 with tephra mods 5.1 on a 94170015 rom.

A couple of years ago I disabled my EGR via the periphery bits, then after a while I put the car into storage.

Now I got the car out of storage, and I think I have all the bit correctly set. All the readiness codes are cleared except for the egr.

I would prefer not to force the readiness patch because when I turned it off, everything was working well enough to pass CA smog. Now that the car is out of storage, I can't get the readiness bit to set, even after 50 miles of mild driving.

Ideas?

I can force it as a last result. I would prefer not too since my current setup is mild enough to pass CA smog with out too much trouble.
