Just a few vendors here that know their stuff good enough to tune over the internet, again the process is the same for both,i have customers putting down well over 600hp on tunes done over the internet,as long as you cover all your bases you should be fine tuning over the internet granted you know what you're doing

I emailed them today and you are incorrect. They still offer SD email tunes.

I have the email, if proof is really needed

EDIT: You should edit your post, so you dont spread incorrect info

Ive done plenty of Speed density cars through remote/email and the one car i built locally the 2.4L in the build section of the thread.. was initially tuned by me remote with speed density and when i got an actual physical ride in that car i couldn't believe how smooth it was and how well it acted.

speed density is not hard to tune remotely and i have first hand experience on more then one car ive done remotely where i sat in it after the tune and it was very impressive..

so to say you cant tune speed density safely over the email/ remote is wrong.. ill bring in 50+ customers to show you otherwise its not dangerous.. that have their cars running smooth as silk.

i can also vouch for aaron @ english racing.. he does good with email speed density tuning as well.

speed density is not that much different then maf on stock ecu.. in a nutshell you just have an additional RPM VE table and the ability to adjust the map ve..

the map ve is more so designed to map out the load on your car.. the rpm ve is just another fuel table helper per say..

it is nothing what you make it out to seem.. it is not hard to tune.. its actually quite easy.

the name of the game is controlling AFR with speed density.. once you can do that, your car will run extremely smooth.. beyond the point of it even feeling like a mitsubishi anymore.

OP, you should talk to tscomp. This is the best advice given in this thread so far.

Ok here is an update. I called around yesterday to some of the big dogg shops.

Buschur- they don't do it anymore (needs to be on dyno) BUT referred me to Mellon Racing
Mellon Racing- never answered the phone
STM- they won't do it (needs to be on the dyno)
AWD Motorsports- they won't do it (needs to be on dyno)

English Racing- DOES IT!!!

Aaron @ English Racing hooked me up with a base map in 5 min of hanging up the phone.

When I got home loaded tune on the car.......... Fired right up. Took the car for a spin and all I can say is AWESOME!! Aaron did a good job and was very professional and quick!!!

My issue was I really don't live close by to any reputable shops and this is why I had to go with this set up for a couple months.

Thanks for everyone's advice and knowledge I think it's pretty cool how fast everyone starts to reply and wants to help.

Thanks again
