i got the car it ran ok but not great took it apart while waiting for cable to pull rom. its still waiting on parts but the timing and fuel maps dont ;look right to me but i am a newb just want to be safe and a little smother before i get it tuned soon.

 

I don't know your mods but I wouldn't flash that map to the car. List your mods and if you are on SD or MAF

 

i am runing SD.fic 1250 pte 5558 kelfod 272 cams fmic uicp. stm mani and full exhaust. ported stock intake. walbro 450 e85 pump

the guy i got it from said he did the tune. good ting i only drove it for about 20mi before i took it apart. suggestions for safe changes?

 

stock rom would be a 1000 times better than that just scale the injectors

 

well i did rescale the injectors for this map and also re did the map to what i thought would be better. it is on tephra v7 sd

 

you can add in a few degree at idle (block of 5s) to help the cams , 10 deg there usually helps

 

done! does the rest look safe to start? is the 0-100 load section ok? then tune the 100+

 

take some out of the 90 to 120 so you avoid big jumps / drops in timing keep them to 3 deg drop .

i read through about 20 pages of that thread but didnt know if there was much difference between the 8s and 9s for timing. but thats where i got some of the changes i made from (ideas anyways) i do have the alt maps would it be better to just copy them over to the main maps
