Ecuflash Problem with Tephra 941760715
Hi everyone. I am having a problem with looking at the tables list in ecuflash. It keeps telling me that there is a problem with ecuflash and shuts it down. It is a tephra mod v7 rom. I have spoken to Kevin at ecuflash and he tells me its a problem with the xml file but I have had someone send me one and have downloaded it from this forum. But it still does it. Any help with this would be great. Thank you

downgrade to 1.42.2595, it's much more tolerant to buggy xmls - often it's only a missing scaling or another minor error.
Without any proper error messages or logfiles its a total PITA to trace down the errors. You need one PC with an old version of ecuflash and one with the new one, open the bin file on both and go down row by row until the new version crashes and you can see at the old version WHERE you have an error in your definition (also have a look at your base xml file!)
I went trough this procedure for my xmls only to find out it's often only some incomplete definitions i put in to remember the adresses for further investigation or scalings which were defined in both xmls. I'm writing my xmls without including the base xmls and defining everything from scratch within the file for the specific ROM-ID...
As the new driver delivered with 1.43.3252 caused MASSIVE flashing problems, i'm still on 1.42.2595 which might be a bit slower (referring to the changelog...) but worked rockstable for me and still does.
