I'd like to take advantage of the CEL-flash for knock but my a/f gauge is mounted on my steering column and blocks the CEL. I was hoping to get around this issue by wiring in an LED.

I've been away from the forums for a while but seem to recall reading that somebody did something similar in the past. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find the thread and I have no idea where to start with a modification like this. Is there a wire in the ECU harness that I can tap?
