Timing- Logged vs requested
Timing- Logged vs requested
I am running V7 88590715 and EcuFlash 1.43.
I am having trouble getting the timing values I am requesting in my High octane ignition map. I am off between 2-3* in the peak torque area of my map only. I am curious if there is anything that can affect timing besides knock, and IAT compensated ignition trim? I have zero knock, zeroed out the IAT compensation table and coolant temps are in the low 190's. Loadfactor matches in both EcuFlash and EvoScan.
Even with the boost turned way down, I am still off 2* in the midrange. Nothing in the EGR ignition maps either. Does Mivec advance have anything to do with pulling ignition timing? I am running a stock JDM mivec map.
When I drag my mouse over these cells in Map Tracer, I can see it is requesting the values in my map but for some reason I am not getting them.
I know I can add a few degrees in the map to compensate but I don't want to get bit in the *** one day by it. I appreciate any help.
