I give up...
Well, I can pull my timing cover tomorrow to take a quick looksy, but I'm 99.999995% positive that the timing is perfect. Since it's a 2.1 motor, I retarded the cam timing 1/2 tooth each - per Buschur. Everythign else should line up with factory timing marks.
..Oh also forgot to mention (though it is probably assumed) - my engine has a BS delete kit.
So, if timing checks out right, any other ideas?

I wouldnt run 28psi on a 10:1 motor. Historically 92 only supports 21-22psi, 93 should be a few pounds more. 10:1 compression is great for racegas or E85 but not pumpgas so much.
Can someone please double-check my Speed Density calibration?
... I seem to hit target Timing and AFR spot on if I am referencing Load calculated from my MAP (kPa). But if I am using my 1Byte load as the determining factor, I am off.

Did you sort out the knock issue? Regardless of fuel type, I'd keep increasing timing & boost if there is no knock. It's not worth it to have a GT35 & run anything less than 27psi.
I've tried adding/removing timing and boost and nothing seems to make a difference. The car is in perfect running order, no boost leaks, no rubbing/vibrations, no engine issues.. I don't get it.
I think my issue is with my SD calibration. I need advice I think on how to calibrate it better with no MAF. If you look at my timing and fuel maps, I am hitting the load spot that correlate to my MAP load, not my 1byte load.
Plus if I make any boost adjustments, it completely screws my AFRs and such, and I have to re-scale my SD... So I think this is where my problem is stemming from. Any advice?

ok guys, so now, I've tried running through some knock sensor tests with the FSM and created another thread about what I did there.
BUT... Last night I had 1/2 a tank of 93oct, and decided to put 5 gallons of CAM2 110oct in the car. My car is still picking up knock fairly easily. I honestly can't tell if it made a difference or not.
Check out some of the logs I have.
1) Cruising on to the highway.
2) Cruising down road then attempt a 3rd gear pull, but stop because of knock.
3) Stop at a light, give it some gas, and then go up a hill.
....In all of these logs you can see the knock I'm talking about. Please don't hesitate to look at my OP to see my mods too. Thanks!

First of all, I only looked at the "3rdGearPull", but it only had a knock count of "1" during the pull. Now that is NOTHING and shouldn't be worried about at all. Worry only about 3 or more knock count.
You should be a lot MORE worried about the fact that up top your running 10.8AFR and only 2* of timing. I would guess your EGTs are though the roof.

2* and 10.8 afr lol ouch. poor engine is being toasted.
just looked at log.. that's really bad Douglas.. you're really hurting your engine.
it needs much more timing then 2deg

That was my understanding as well, but anytime I've tried adding more timing the car picks up knock like mad! faassst! I have an EGT gauge, I haven't seen it get outrageously high... in-fact, not at all out of ordinary.
On the 3rd gear pull, it didn't pick up more than 1 count of knock, but what do you think about all the other logs? Also, when I got out of the 3rd gear pull and started cruising, the car picked up regular knock counts. Any advice?

it sounds like to me your knock sensor settings need tweaked to accommodate the noise level of your particular engine / valvetrain, etc.
before doing so confirm no loose objects, rubbing, vibrations are causing the false knock before removing it..
do not do any more pulls with that low of timing you are putting major stress on internals.
make sure knock sensor is tight and not loose in block as well.

Thanks guys, I've done all of those things. I've tried listening with a set of home-made det cans as well, but can't seem to hear anything odd, so I don't know if that just means my motor isn't really knocking or I don't know what I'm looking for particularly.
I've already done the following:
Removed solid mounts and put factory ones in.
Modified alternator bracket that was rubbing water pump (different on 2.1L motor).
Checked all IC piping.
Checked/removed exhaust.
Checked Wastegate for leaks.
Checked driveshaft for too much play.
Checked plugs, replaced plugs, re-gapped plugs.
New plug wires and coils.
Pulled and added timing.
....and just recently added some race gas. I think the race gas may have actually helped a bit after driving the car a little now. Which makes me worry that all my knock could be real. And if that's the case, when I've added timing in the past it has made it a lot worse.
I just updated my tune though, and I will post it on here to show you where I'm at. I couldn't do any pulls on the ride into work this morning because the pavement is very wet. I didn't even want to drive the evo in, but my Acura needs a new slave cylinder - died on me mid-week. LMK what you think. Thanks!
