FreeFuel ECU patch - a flex fuel implementation to Evo ECU
what is the hardware that i need to make a easy inslatacion ? where i can buy?
thanks a lot
This is tested working on the 2D SD patch (96531706) but the Roadspike SD 2.0 (3D maps) don't seem to work correctly with this patch, at least I have serious issues when trying to start (calculates 170 load during cranking and floods engine). Same ROM without patch at least starts, although that particular ROM I believe is no good, the SD maths seem to be quite far off so I'm not bothering with it anyway.

Intersting. For some reason I thought this to not have been tested with any SD patch. In that case, I may have to play rather soon. I'm in the middle of converting back to the stock ecu for my new build but may need a few pointers on how to even set up all of these patches.
I bought JDM Evo 9 ECU to eventually do the Evo 9 port. I have been using 3-plug JDM Evo 8 ECU so it should fit pretty easily.
Do I need to mask any Mivec codes when using Evo 9 ECU with non-mivec engine?

I came across this in a quick search, it may help you.

Does anyone know if you choose to use the Zeitronix stuff if you need the sensor and the ECA for the ECU to calculate the content? Or do we just need the sensor with the pigtail running to the ECU?
You'd need both. The flex fuel sensors output a digital frequency signal which the stock ECU cannot read. The Zeitronix ECA converts that frequency signal into a 0-5v signal that can be run into the ECU.
