lean idle after rebuild

Forgive my ignorance but I have a quick question. After my stock bottom end blew (destroyed #1 ring land--after a well known tuner who tuned it disabled my knock sensor) I finally have the engine back in the car. It was bored .20 over and cr was increased to 9.0:1. Problem I'm having is that I noticed when I start it up, it idles arouind 15.5-16.2ish afr. Before the rebuild it was fine at 14.7... Is it more lean now because of the slightly increased displacement and upped cr? I thought maybe the ecu would have compensated for that? Does this mean I need a completely new tune? Thanks again for reading my idiotic questions.

Cheers, John.

You want to run the same tune that blew your motor?

Disregard, I'm a retard, my egr valve wasn't connected to its hose. Would still like to hear opinions on a re-tune though. Can anyone tell me how to "re-enable" my knock sensor? I'm guessing all it would take is to change some numbers in the knock sensor table? Again, forgive my ignorance.

download a stock ROM for your car and copy over the knock sensor settings. thats a start, but if the car is built, exhaust, etc then the sensor might need adjusting so that it filters out more noise that the motor is now making.

cheers
