I bought a J_o_t (dyno tech) map switch harness and hooked it up as instructions said... Dont work yes in tephramods it is turned on, thresh hold is a tad over 3v

Than the wire in pin came undone so i tried soddering it in and kept popping the wire off.

Id just like to get it to work any help is much appreciated.

What value did you set the Alt-Map switch option to in the 'Enable/Diasable' TephraMod list? It should be set to 1.

Is the Red light turning on when you flip the switch?

Same problem here. Led lights up but no map switching happens. I've tested voltage at pin and its right at 4.xxx while setting my threshold between 1-3v. It worked at one time then stopped.

Then the first thing you need to do is triple check the wires you tapped for power & ground. If you have a multimeter, confirm whether or not you are getting 12 volts on the two wires you tapped for power and ground.

Yes, with the key in the on position. When it's in the OFF position you should see 0 volts.

You can if you want to. Although there is no reason the wires shown in the diagram wouldn't have power or ground since the ECU needs those wires powered to function properly. I generally try to use the ground indicated in the diagram to minimize ground loop noise.

Are you installing this on an evo 8 or evo 9? I know it won't work on the 2005 Dodge SRT-4 you have listed in your profile lol.
