Do you have the info for enabling mode 23 on the 2013?


Thanks bud, got the XML's for the 2013 from a user on the boards so I'm all set now. I was able to download my stock ROM and access all the tables. My only question now is getting mode 23 going for EVOscan. I was able to log using the non mode 23 mode though so I know the process is working.

Seems like the 2013 XML file is being distributed, ummm, discretely, ha ha. I got it from a tuner, another tuner offered it as well. Both are contributors to Golden and that's where they got it from. I donated as well once I got it working. I don't blame Golden, his work deserves something in return.

If you don't want to bother with bench flashing then ask around, the tuners will help out. Just throw Golden a bone if that's where the XML came from. But if you're already set on bench flashing there's nothing wrong with that either. Good to know it can be done locally if needed.

 

I too need this rom info and xml. Have a car on the dyno now :-(

Is there a solid resource to get an already tuned map for a stock 2011 X MR??

 

Plenty of good e tuners you can contact. They'll send you a base map to start from and then you'll send them logs. Then they'll send updates until everything is dialed in.

 

Bench your ecu, you will be able to use any rom, patches, etc.

 

Hey all, I have the same MY13 Evo rom 59580004. The only way I can log some decent data using Evo Scan is by using EvoX CAN MutIII. Basically only timing rpm and a couple other things. What must i do to properly log all the correct data to properly tune my car?

I have ecu flash with mode 23 activated: 23 | 23 | 005D

 

Goldenevo.com has posted up the full XML along with Evoscan data that gives you the right Tables to log.

If you downloaded Evoscan 2.9 it should be there.... I think.. if not just browse his site.

 

I seem to be having problems with the definition on Golden's site for this rom (59580004)

The only table that is really functional is the High octane timing map.

I just got the defs off goldens website and I still can't read any of the tables besides the timing table. What .xml file are you using?
