Just got my Tactrix Openport 2.0
Just got my Tactrix Openport 2.0
First of the new toys for the EVO, got my Openport 2.0
Already purchased EVOscan too. Hopefully tonight I'll get to the point where I can log data from the ECU. That's the goal anyway.
Later on I'll get my Innovate wideband set up and start to tweak things. Might just weld a bung onto the stock downpipe for now and worry about a new downpipe later.

I just bought evoscan as well and am now just waiting for funds for a Tactrix =P. I too am going for the innovate wideband since it's on the tactrix website and has the best price. How new are you to tuning? I have been studying like crazy and watching the video series that recompile posted on youtube about tuning evos. Good luck!
Yeah those videos helped a lot with the software. I'm not totally new to tuning. Tuned my last couple of boosted Hondas. Just new to the Evo's and their software. It's fun
I need to get me one of these also. watching those vids, downloaded the huge tuning pdf by merlin, etc.
Have you found a solid resource to get a tuned map for a stock 2011 X MR??
I'd rather flash it myself, rather than go get a custom tune on my stock evo.

You'll just need the ECUflash software to read and flash the ECU. EVOscan software to log parameters. All of that is done with the Tatrix OpenPort 2.0 cable.
Only other thing I'd suggest is getting the 90 ODB extension cable. Then you can put the OpenPort in the glove box and not have to worry about kicking the OP while logging. It's right near your clutch foot.
