Each time I try and read it i get this errorROM will not read in ECUFlash-capturescreen.jpg After wards it says either abort or create new definitions as a developer. I have reached out to my tuner but being a Sunday I havent heard back any suggestions??

You haven't got the correct definition XML file to read your ROM. If you know your ROM ID number, search for the corresponding XML and put it in your rommetadata folder.

Fixed>>>> I hate Vista. For some reason the XML file was saving in subfolder compatabilty file directory within ECU Flash mete directory. Each time I saved it never showed up in the actual program files. I had to copy the file from the sbfolder and paste it within the actual program files that ECU Flash uses to read ROM. Presto it works. Stupid Vista

I'm glad you got it fixed.

I had a similar but different issue. I would put my XML in the correct rommetadata folder and ECUFlash would read them but not properly, I'd get some details but no tables. However if I shifted my XMLs into another completely separate folder and changed the target address for the XMLs they would come up fine. I don't know what caused this and am still using an alternatice rommetadata folder. Running Windows 7.
