I am considering getting some oil pressure and temp logging going on. Can folks comment on their setup and why they chose the devices they did, and if they are logging with evoscan?

i am troubleshooting a nasty MIVEC problem and have eliminated everything, and now I am thinking it could be a lack of oil pressure, but I need to log it to prove that.

There are a ton of posts on the physical install of bungs on the oil filter housing, but nothing that I could find for the logging side of things.

I also have the MR oil temp gauge (that doesn't seem to work anymore that's mounted on the drain plug).

 

did you check the filter ,in the fitting where the oil feed banjo goes into the head ?

 

Yup, I did. here is a pic. Thanks for the thought though. Probably should put that on my thread for troubleshooting the actual problem.

Here I am trying to see what folks bought as hardware to log oil pressure and temp that had the right kind of output to log with evoscan. (routing into the ECU on open pins, like the Wideband input mods).
