There is a more accurate way of logging the zeitronix through the ECU.

There is always a voltage variance between the analog output and what the ECU input see's.

Once you connect it to the ECU, turn on the wideband but unplug the sensor itself (with the engine OFF). The analog output will output 2.55 volts (14.7:1 AFR). In Evoscan, if you set the formula as just 'x' 2.55 volts would read 130.

99% of the time this wont be what it reads.

replace the letter 'P' with whatever you logged when you had the formula set to just 'x'. reconnect the wideband sensor and now your readings will perfectly match.

(10/255)*(x*(130/P))+9.6

When I wired my Zeitronix to the ECU, I logged the AFR from the ECU while logging the AFR from the zeitronix box using reg serial cable and made sure they overlaid each other, to make sure my formula was 100% accurate.

I was thinking about that. Once I get it wired up it may be a good idea.

Jamie, I followed your instructions but my analog output only matches the serial output at 14.7. The analog output reads leaner than the serial output when richer than stoich. I'm going to check what reading I get in the ZDL software tomorrow to confirm which one is correct.

What was the value you got for 'P' in the formula?

129.

I tested analog output in evoscan vs serial output in ZDL vs my zeitronix LCD this morning and confirmed that the analog output differs from both the serial output and LCD, and serial output matches the LCD reading.
