Can not richen AFR
Hi everyone. The car is Evo 9 JDM. Rom id is 88570008 with Tephra 5.1.
Everything works well except that AFR does not follow what defined in the high/low octane fuel map. This happens to the alternate map as well.
I tested by putting 7.4 to every load/rpm cell and the car idle like crap. This means that I am modifying the right table/address.
However, when tuning the car with some boost, the AFR does not go down. I also tested by putting everything starting from load 100 - 200 to 7.4 but the actual AFR (reading from MTX1) was some where in 13s.
What i found out is that when I logged the target AFR (AFRMAP) from evoscan, the target is something in 12s which i supposed to see 7.4 as my map is all set to such number.
Any idea where else to check? Attached is the bin file. Please help..

I would trust what merlin says
Did you have that problem before upgrading the fuel pump ? if you still have the stock one, I know it's a hassle but put it back
unless you plan on running bio-ethanol or 400+hp it's good enough
I don't know how it works on MAP equipped cars but on an EDM you have to re-scale the MAF to approach a 1:1 realafr/afrmap
values are completely different (richer) by default, ex : afrmap 11.5 realafr 10.3 even with no problems on the car, on a stock ecu you're constantly in the 9s they run very rich stock ><
p.s.
injector duty cycle should be moved down in the list and logged below pulse width for the calculation to work in evoscan I believe, it's definitely true if you use openport 2.0 autolog on sdcard, if you don't you end up with zeroes like on your picture
