Hi,

I am having a problem with my car whenever I run the AC the engine tries to shut off two or three times then it dies off,

its not because of the intake shield and AC fans, I have pulled the two fans harness and still the same issue,

this happened when I tried to lower the injector ( FIC 1100 ) scaling from 1008 to 975 as I'm seeing both trims are +5, +7 , and when I did ( changed the scaling ) the car wont stay on : idle very rough, white smoke came, and it dies after seconds,
then I have returned it back to 1008 , idle still rough , engine wont die, but I can not run the AC

any one had such thing before ?

What latency did you set for your FIC1100?

My settings for FIC1100 (98Oct):

Fuel Injector scaling - 975 cc/min

Latency Compensation:
4.69V - 3.69
7.04V - 3.045
9.38V - 1.8
11.73V - 1.215
14.08V - 0.915
16.42V - 0.72
18.77V - 0.645

I have just one issue with it.
The idle RPM falls down for 1 or 2 seconds to 600rpm if i stay longer at Idle, then
somtimes i get "random Cylinder missfire".

But only with 98Oct... no problem with E85.

 

You need to tune or have your tuner adjust the idle timing compensation tables to help correct for the camshafts lack of vacuum.
