Im getting an error reading the ecu on my friend's 04 Evo 8...

I did some searching and found out the rom id is 96420010, but now we're stuck...ive searched everywhere for that same rom id...and got ZERO results...

 

whats the error ?? check see if you have the def file in rommetdata

 

It ends in 10 not 11.

it can't be saved. we get an error saying unknown rom id. then it gives 3 options of what to do with the data that was read from the ecu.

ive searched all over and havent seen anyone else having an issue with the 96420010 rom...

 

change the rom id in the xml i attached to 96420010 then rename the def file aswell save to rommetdata that will allow you to save the rom then attach it

 

ill give that a try, hope it works
