2g dsm

Good morning.

I would like to see if I can bum some help off some experienced personel regarding the direction I should step in first for tuning my 2g.

Stroker 2.3 - Stock head
GT35 ~ 22psi
770 FIC
4 bar omni
GM IAT
VRS FMIC
255 whinebro
BPR8ES - 0.20''
91 Octane

The rom im using is Ceddy's big map SD. Completely unmolested, save the injector scaling and latency.

Here are some cruising logs, a few pulls to 6k or so. My timing advance seems sketchy, its low at WOT. I'm getting low to no counts of knock at least. (sorry for lack of TPS logging)

I'm not entirely sure where to begin.

Thank you.

two logs from this afternoon.

Really rich up top it seems. I logged tps this time, i never realize consciously why i hesitate to push 100%, but it dawns on me that I came from working with Mazda's and every time i went WOT, something would explode.

smaller log is 2nd gear, larger is third.

Looks like I could use a hair more timing around the 4k 230ish load, ill take another log tonight at actual WOT. the tps readings dont seem right..

Well, it seem my Omni 4 bar is not scaled properly.

I was using a 1:1, now ill use:

MAP/kPa______Load%

10.9___________7
21____________15
31.1___________27
41.3___________36
60.7___________55
101.1__________91
120.9__________119
340.2__________340

First off, you really need to build your head before you start doing anything serious. Its severely killing the efficiency of that turbo. Also, you need to either log less things or figure out a way to log quicker. Lots of missing plots in your logs and it jumps around. Very hard to tune like that. The only things you really should be logging at WOT is timing, TPS, AFR, RPMS,
IPW, IDC and boost.

Tune your fueling to reach 12-12.2 AFR by peak load, then gradually enrichen to 11.3 by redline. After that, start playing with your timing. You always get your fueling done first.

When you're doing pulls, you HAVE to do WOT 100%. 75% doesn't cut it. If you want to hit different load cells, do pulls up/down a hill. It will help you hit different load cells.

Lastly, after/when you get cams, get bigger injectors. Those are pretty much at their limit.
