Evoscan help

HI,

I had a working evoscan in my laptop, had to format it, and now I reinstall evoscan and it doesn't recognize the openport 2.0 cable

always get this

I reinstall it and nothing, tried another pc and same thing, I try to install the drivers from the evoscan folder and it says it's not compatible with my language (spanish).

I have ecuflash and can read/write ecu no problem, so the cable is working and drivers are good.

What can I do?

I emailed evoscan a no answer

Anybody has a similar problem and was able to solve it?

Thanks

Try plugging in the OP2.0 and then go to your computer settings. You can change the com port that the device is working off of there. When you reinstalled it your computer probably assigned the open port to a different com port like 12 or higher. Then evoscan won't see the device on such a high com port. I had the same issue with reinstalling evoscan but it was with my wideband. I just plugged the wideband in and found it under settings and changed it from com port 15 to com port 1 and now evoscan sees the wideband again and it works perfect again now.
