Need help diagnosing a fuel issue

Trying to help a friend out with his car, he recently sold his set of ID1000's (scaled and was working perfectly) to another friend. Started out with the same scaling/latencies that he was using but for some reason the car just goes pig rich (10.0) as soon as he goes WOT.
We tried different scalings, played with the latencies, even leaned the fuel map out by as much as 3 full points with no changes. It's as if the injectors are stuck wide open at WOT.
We threw the ID's back in the original car and they were fine...threw the stock injectors back in the other car and that too was fine.
Anyone ever experienced this before?
