Ok got you. So when in meth fail safe mode you can only use the alt map and normal map to revert back to. So if I wanted to use other maps for track day, what would I do?
If I switch to the cruise control alt map mode, I will trip the check engine light, due to the high jacked gas tank temp signal.
Just trying to wrap my head around what my options are, with very little tuning knowledge

Chris - With the methsafe map, the meth controller can put it onto the methsafe map, and then take it back to normal map.. the gas temp signal should be always be overwritten regardless..
do you have a bench cable? if you like I can advance you a copy (send me the ROMID) and you can test it all out for yourself..
lastly - I am just finishing of 53050009 - Should be tested in the next few days...

Since no one has asked yet...
Once V2Mods is flashed the initial time does further flashing require the bench flashing method?
What kind of realistic time frame are we looking at for the updated ECUFlash software?
Can we have a list of live tunable maps? Is the fuel calibration map one of them by chance?

Also I have a 2011 running the 2010 v1 ROM and wish to stick with the 2010 ROM. Will the 2010 v2 still work this way due to the amount of changes you've made? I'd presume yes but figured others would like to know so asking this publicly also.
