EvoScan Gauges: Widget rescales when data item is set
EvoScan Gauges: Widget rescales when data item is set
I've been fiddling around with the gauge layout software in EvoScan and need to get a current layout to respond. I'm attempting to use the Evo5rsV9 gauge set. It has some flaws in gauge placement and such, but that is easily cured by editing the template, creating a new widget and placing it. Where I'm running into issues is the stage when I set the data item.
Here's a for instance- I edit the template of the AFR gauge that out of the box reads 7-21. If I set it to my desired scale of 10-20, I can save the template and bring it up in the widget menu. When I attempt to place the widget, I am prompted to set the data item. I point the data item at my external wideband and it wants to rescale the gauge to 0-60.
60.0:1 is a bit lean for my taste, but the gauge doesn't represent the values I can log (10-20).
How do I build this gauge set to not rescale whenever I point the gauge to the data set?
Edit: Hurp derp, I may have figured it out.
Yup, looks like I need to right click the data item in evo scan, edit the data item setting, scroll down a little bit on the right hand side where it says "gauge min" and "gauge max" and edit those areas.
Thanks for helping me get through this everyone.
