Speed Density and Warming Up
Speed Density and Warming Up
I am curious. I am running SD on a 2.3L E85 motor. Now, when I first start the car (not warmed up), it fires and runs great for the first 5 or so seconds then it starts to drop RPM and dies. I notice that the WB02 goes lean. When the engine is warm, it doesn't do that. It fires and idles perfect, but only when it's warm. I constantly have to try and keep the RPM around 2k by pressing the gas a bit so it won't die. So, I guess my question is what really happens on first startup that it runs so good within those first seconds? And Second, what are the best tables that should be adjusted to accommodate for the first starting temp vs. warm temp engine?
