Closed loop with big injectors problem
Closed loop with big injectors problem
Running FIC 1450s on pump and trying to get the fuel trims in check but during cruise I can can physically feel the closed loop switch point.
Foe example an evo with stock 560s in CL will cycle from 14.4 -14.9
When I had RC100s it would cycle from 14.0-15.4ish but still smooth cruise.
Now with 1450s that little change in pulse width to keep the narrow band o2 happy is too dramatic and cycles from 13.4-16.0 and makes surging feeling.
I don't really want to run full open loop but it seems like I might have to.
Is there any way to decrease the change amount at target switch point?

unless you are on e85, no need for anything bigger than 1100s. i run the FIC1450s in closed loop for idle and cruise on e85. they are not as stable as my fic1100s were, but get the job done.
