I have no issues with my tune just want to know what everyone thinks. I have a stock re flash from aaron at english and the car is tuned with out a.i.t. sensor. I have moved away from washington and a few local tuners think that it is an inaccurate way to tune but I have had the map on the car for over three years with no issues. So fellow people help me to understand. I would ask aaron directly but it is labor day and all. any help on this is great thanks

 

I'm guessing you're referring to being tuned on SD using the fuel temp sensor rather than an actual IAT sensor?

 

Aaron has a thread on here discussing SD and how his method of tuning on SD differs from other tuners. That aside, Aaron is one of the best tuners in our Evo community, I wouldn't worry too much about what others say seeing as your tune has been solid for 3 years.

 

The other "tuners" say it is inaccurate because of one of two reasons:

1. It's not their preferred method
2. They don't understand how/why it works

 

oh I don't disagree about aaron I'm not questioning him what so ever. one of the tuners said it could be as much as 20% difference. again Im not questioning what aaron has done. it has ran solid for 3 + years. I'm just curious the reasoning behind it
