This is not anti lag, it's just pops'n'bangs through -ve timing & perhaps activating SAS. It has no effect on the turbo, it might increase EGTs though
Anti lag is different, it might affect the turbo since the turbo would be spooling all time achieving positive boost in between shifts, but on the other hand it's switchable on all aftermarket ECUs so you won't have it on all the time.

I'm assuming the tephra uses fuel cut for no lift shifting like it does with LC? I haven't tested it out personally.. just LC. A mod'd rom I used on my subaru project allowed for fuel or ignition cut for both LC and NLS. Ignition cut is violent but gives all the banging, (literally made people duck...) and fire anyone could ever want. Silly. But fun. Dropped very little boost between shifts on a 2.0 w/ a super hx 40 though.

The Ceddy rom is being set up so it can run true anti-lag. I assume a donation to Lee on geekmapped would get you going.

Try drilling out the manifold holes and not just the banjo bolts. I'm sure you can increase turbo speed with sas but one thing I haven't tried when I had it working with my vipec was drilling the manifold. Mostly because I was too lazy. However this will not increase intake manifold boost just airflow from the turbo and it gets bled into the exhaust ..

I have proof of a negative timing regime on a stock ecu increasing airflow with no sas. I logged maf Hz under both conditions ..and overlayed them..

after seeing what a evo 5/6 can do with the ceddy rom, I've always wondered if there was a evo 7/8/9 equivalent rom that can do the same, yes tephra in some cases can be better than ceddy but what I like about ceddy over tephra is that you can set up launch control on the ecu much easier. well that's my opinion lol

anyone here able to make a ceddy rom work on evo 7/8/9 ecu lol

Lee on Geekmapped was playing with the 7-9 rom as well. Jump on Geekmapped and take a look.

Launch control is easier to set up = flames are easier to make

Flames don't mean force on the turbine wheel though.

If you see the flame it's the stuff that didn't turn the exhaust wheel.

Hi what do you mean when you say drill out the manifold? I've already done the banjos.
