evoscan/ ecuflash on google chromebook?
anyone able to use these programs on their chromebook? i know they are limited with what programs can be run, but i figured since its web based it might be possible?
back in the day they said nobody will be able to download torrents on their chromebook, but now theres an app that lets you do it.
so wondering if anyone has used ecuflash/ evoscan on their chromebook?

It won't work. Chrome OS is a really shallow OS which is the equivalent of running a browser. Its great for using stuff that runs in the browser or can be run as addons. It can run any web based app and both EcuFlash and EvoScan are native applications. It would require a complete re-write of both apps into a browser add on format.
right. i asked about this and they said they won't be developing anything for it. kind of sad, chromebook is perfect for this kind of thing.
i believe evoscan is available for android though, though idk that it works with phones yet...
