Okay so on a local customer of mine, I've came across this issue that I can't seem to break.

On pump gas, they just seem to dump fuel into the cylinders around 5500 RPM and end up having to lean them out to the extreme on the fuel map. Yet on ethanol, that issue goes away.


Second issue is that I get a P0172 on warmup on both pump gas and ethanol, along with the low trim going to -12.5 and mid at -7.6. I've tried reducing the scaling but minimal help.

Is this an injector issue or am I missing something?

 

Are you using map switching, or two separate roms? Have you logged your ipws during the event? Based on the injector scaling I'm assuming you're on a maf. Is there any drastic variance in your maf tables? Have the injectors been tested?

For the second issue. I'd make sure to get my trims within +/- 5% then use the cold start ipw tables to get the start up fueling back in line. It's not really necessary with 1450s, but you could also use the minimum ipw table as well.
