It seems discussing and learning how the maps work is on topic. Guess not. LOL. My bad.

I'd go a step further and say drag racing isn't worth touching an Evo for.
😛

Yea, you would basically tune for maximum lock up all the time. Contact English Racing about it and they can probably help you out. I know they've been working on it for their drag X.

good info, interesting thread. my ACD is ER's tune but I believe it's proprietary. as my car has a lot of oversteer on corner exit, what I've noticed most is improvements on turn in, overall increased willingness to turn

nice! an ACD tune is on my short list. i can't decide between building a flash rig or just having someone do it for me.

All of this. Except if you have a laggier turbo. With the red, I have to roll into the throttle until the car gets into boost or it will push. Aaron and I will be working on if I can ever get a tcase that doesn't **** the bed every 1500 miles.

That sucks, man. Sorry to hear.

I have the oversteer, but I'm looking for a bit better performance mid corner. I don't want to have to drift out of turns LOL. I can also let off and rotate well under decel.
Both options upset the chassis more than I'd like, though.

My car rotates very nicely on the brakes, or when lifting off the throttle.

same here, though i don't trail brake a whole lot. to be more specific regarding my above post:
i'd like to be able to get on the gas sooner without having to "drift" LOL. i feel like i'm loosing some time, off the gas, waiting for the car to come around. not much, because it does it well, but i'm always looking to shave any time i can.. but then aren't we all? LOL

If you have the Tactrix OP 2.0 and ECUFlash all you need is a wire to one of the pins on the ACD ECU. You plug the other end into the flash port on the OP 2.0 and then you can read the ACD, change the tables, and flash it back in the car. It takes 10 minutes to set up. Everyone should be doing it it's so easy.

So it there anyone else out there tuning their ACD/AYC that is willing to share their tables?

Please provide the following data to help other members categorize your tune:
1. Year
2. Market (USDM, JDE, EDM etc.),
3. Model (Evo 9, 8, 7, etc.),
4. ACD only or ACD & AYC
5. Description of the modifications you made and how they have improved handling
6. Screen shots of your modified tables

Post em up don't be shy!

Sounds like you actually need less lock up. The ACD locking force will actually fight the car's rotation mid corner forcing you to break some traction in the rear to get it to rotate. It's a trade off between getting the power down to the pavement and allowing the axles to spin at different speed according to your cornering radius.

OP, I'm happy you're trying to get the community to share and learn to better tune the ACD. Keep up the good work. I don't have much to contribute since I spun bearings mid season before I could do some real data logging and testing.
