Fuel Pump Prime Key On

Hi All,
I have an evo 8 ecu in my 1g, I've been running it for many years with great success.

One thing that plagues me is startups. I've noticed that I can trigger the fuel pump in Evo Scan, but my car does not prime the pump on 'Key On'. I would really like it to.

I've searched on here and see varying responses.
Is this a possibility/Is it easy to do in ecu flash, am I maybe missing it?
Do the Evo 8's have this from factory?
Any idea why mine is not working/how I can get it to work/where to start.

Thanks,
Mk

Id also like to know if this is possible. I run an Evo 7 ECU (9055) in my Lancer GSR (2G-ish) and it takes a little too long to start sometimes, which doesn't help the low battery stregth on cold mornings.
My Evoscan has issues triggering the actuators, I've never been able to get those to work.

This may have been coincidence, but I had my starter power wire come off last night.
When I turned the key to crank, the fuel pump would fire, even though the engine was not turning... I thought the CAS signal is what makes the ecu trigger the pump...?

why do you want to have the pump run in the key "on" / engine "off" position? A properly functioning fuel supply system does not need to be primed. If all the fuel is draining out of the supply line, then the fuel pump check valve has gone bad.
