I'm working on an 04 Evo 8 (9417015) converted to Tephra 94171715. The car has a gm IAT sensor wired: to the fuel temp sensor (pin 77) (pin removed and new pin installed) and sensor grounded to transmission. The GM IAT is installed in the bend before the throttle body. The fuel temp sensor is still connected to the pigtail.
The issue is the car reads 280-310ish degrees F on evo scan.
I've attached the evoscan function and request id, as well as the current ecuflash settings.
Does this work for anybody? I've got the exact settings as above in this thread, using tempscale vs tempscale fuel, same logging formula at 09 request, convert iat to mat at 0E and I'm logging 267 deg F using 1.8*x+32 and air temp is logging 55 deg F which is 20 deg warmer than coolant temp. Using 0x03 for convert iat to mat, I'm logging 10 degrees UNDER my coolant temp of 37 degrees. I'm about ready to give up. There's got to be something off in the XML coding in my Phenem 94171715 and 94170715 V7 roms...OR my scaling is still off majorly...OR I'm logging the wrong MUT and/or formula. I've seen half a dozen or so posts where people report back that they've FINALLY logged correct IAT, or fuel temp, etc. after tweaking scaling but neglect to share their results or exact method of resolution!
