been looking round but cant find clear answer

can i use the solenoid out of apexi avcr to control boost with ecuflash instead of a gm or mac solenoid
asking as ive got one lying round getting rusty

or is it better to use the gm or mac one

I personally I would try it. Don't see why you couldn't. It's just a solenoid. Just go slow and try it out. If it doesnt work you can just buy one of the others I have a GM solenoid just chilling in a drawer of my toolbox as well..

Razorlab, any reason why you changed from the apexi boost solenoid? I have a spare apexi avcr solenoid lying around and just ordered a grimmspeed 3 port for the evo 8. Is it better to install the grimmspeed 3 port and run the avcr from that?
