Hello everyone. I have an evo 8 tuned on tephra v7. The shop I went to failed to secure the 3 port solenoid they used to control boost so it was skidding along the 405 until it quit working. Leaving me with this which unfortunately leaves me with no part number to reference.
So my question is, I found an Apexi boost solenoid. Will this unit work and be able to be controlled by my ecu in the same fashion?
Should I start by checking to make sure the resistance is the same on both units?

 

The answer is yes it works. Put it in today and everything is back to normal.
