Yes, Tephra sent me a specific MR V3 that used the brake pedal switch to activate launch maps. I think he said he was going to make that standard on the MRs going forward. You might have to ask him which one was sent to you.

The launch maps don't work out of the box for an SST car. Lots of thing with ignition timing and shifting don't work in SST cars either, that doesn't have anything to do with the patch. Having a patch that cut an defined amount of timing above a defined load on shift would make life for these cars much better. I can confirm that the factory timing tables for shift have some very polluted logic that makes them useless. If anyone wants to code something like this that works for me, send me an email. I will pay $$$$.

IF someone could get me the mut value that logs when the car shifts I could write something pretty quickly, but I dont have a SST to log and find that

Has anyone had an issue with the launch maps not interperlating 100% correctly ( i.e the launch timing maps). I can say for a fact that the maps are taking affect, as previous to the brake pedal switch, my timing was around 22-25 deg. wit the tables set at -10 deg at the appropriate load, it is only hitting 2 deg. Seting the same target load/rpm area to -15 didnt alter the actual timing achieved. Am I missing anything? Could the fact that i have added more fuel in the same area on the fuel launch maps affect the timing achieved? (as in the car will only advance the timing so much if the mixture is x rich?) Has anyone else had the same experience with this mattter? Here are my Launch maps for an sst (56920008)

here is a log of it ( still builds 10psi, but was looking for just a little more pop

In the launch maps I just do a big block of -10 around the load/RPM I want. Also you have to make sure to change your lower bound timing table to allow timing to go that far negative.

Sorry to bump an old thread but, does the launch maps make the car easier to launch since it’s not using the factory LC? Or would I still get the overheat warning if I don’t launch super quickly?
