If your getting the overheat warning then this probably won't fix it. There is something else wrong.

I was hoping this would allow for longer stage times but I guess no one is clear on that. Just seeing if it were added benefits to the launch maps besides just spooling the turbo. For example in a GTR I can see on LC longer than what I’m able to do in the MR, just makes grudge racing a little easier at the track.

 

You'll still get the error, it just lets you build more/any boost, but for grudge racing, would let you go in second and be up on boost faster

 

I have yet to time my LC out on the MR. I have sat on it from the time it took someone to light up both bulbs and roll through the sportsman tree. It was probably about 5-6 seconds in total. Might be different for different years though.

I have been getting my tune finalized for a
2008 X MR
Internal ID 53050312
Inherits 53050012

We have been trying to get spark cut and launch maps working together. My tuner said "brake switch - so i double checked the code - it's definitely "right" - but i chatted with some other tuners in the USA and we aren't convinced the launch maps are actually turning on properly on the sst cars."

Is this still an on going issue that's being resolved?

Did you use my second patch to enable launch maps, or are you just using a standard v3?

I was unaware of a second patch, Not sure if my tuner has patched the V3.

 

By default launch maps do not work on v3, you need a patch to switch the clutch switch input from launch maps to the brake switch input

 

How can I/we get the patch ?
Do you mean the spark cut patch or something else ?

It's a patch that enables launch maps using the brake switch instead of the clutch switch, but if you email me I'll see if I have it
