Hey everyone,

A year ago I did a tune for the O2 sensor delete, I ended up clearing the CEL and was able to pass NYC inspection, but when I went this year to get inspected it failed telling me this. "OBDII failure: The emissions inspection could not be completed, the data reported matches a vehicle simulator" not sure what I can do at this point. I'm not a good tuner and was wondering if anyone can help.

Interesting to hear, sounds like their testing methods are getting more advanced, they can tell that the map is not stock. I'm not sure if reverting back to using an o2 sensor will make you pass even with force pass enabled.

 

my guess is they are trying to look at sensor voltages through the obd protocol. Would love to hear more about what they are doing though.

 

I have no rear O2, would like to put one on my test pipe with a defouler and revert back to a basic tune. Anyone willing to supply me with a tune, I can email.the tune on the car right now.
