Street Tune Vs Dyno tune, need advice.

Currently i have Buschurs MBC, Buschurs Full intake system, Greddy Comp Ti-C. I was going to get a street dyno but not sure if i should go ahead and get a dyno tune. whats the difference between a street tune and a dyno tune? what do you guys recommended? I am trying to save money so i didnt want to blow 450$ on a tune so i was looking at a street tune which was half of that. thanks in advance.

Street tune always better but you need a dyno to see the power. You call.

Bring it somewhere safe and where you can have a repeatable test done.
Dyno.
Tunes doesn't cost as much as you mentioned.

Dyno tunes are to tune the car under optiumum conditions. Road tuning then fixes any fine adjustments to make it even better.

I prefer a dyno tune which also provides you with power numbers, although mustang and dynojets do read differently.

I'm cheap, and the money I would put to a dyno tune can get me a wideband, a logging cable, and software. You just gotta go somewhere remote.
Read up on different tuning theories, know the relationships between temperature, octane, boost, AFR and knock, and take baby steps (make small changes at a time and see what's effected). Everything you need to know is on the internet.
... and ultimately... no one drives on a dyno.

Road tunes account for drag and put accurate load on the car. You don't drive everyday on a dyno. We provide dynographs of our remote/street tunes.

I am going to be tuning myself.... I have done a lot of research as far as paying for a tune and if I were to pay I would go with mellon. Just taking one look at the forums and you see mellon all over them. If you are tuning yourself make sure you go to the evoecu wiki it has a ton of good info on it!!
