Talking EvoScan - Excel files do not display any data accurately

Hi everyone,

I am currently trying to log my '04 Evo. When I plug into the the car everything is fine. When I log and open the files in excel, the numbers and values (all) repeat after like 17 cells or so .Also I noticed when I am at idle, 925~ RPMS, the rpm on range on Evo scan is going from 0 to 2300, to 1100.. Maybe I need a new cable? When I give it a rev to 3K, evo scan does numbers are alternating between. Coolant temp numbers are not accurate at all. I believe most of this data is not accurate and EvoScan is opening and just displaying the same data over and over again...

Anyone ever have this type of issue before?

Thank you!

a couple things to check, your baud rate should be 15625, you should have the proper openport cable selected for which ever you are using 1.3x or 2.0, It should be set to "Mitsubishi MUTIII", make sure "offline Test Mode" is not checked.

All those are good! I am really leaning towards the cable unless something is wrong with the setup.

My vote is still a bad cable. I will be around all weekend if you would like to stop by and try mine. The data almost looks like what you would see in test mode.
