For some obscure reason the Evo 9 has a 1 Bar map sensor. The whole ecu operation is MAF based, but boost pressure gives a more natural comprehension of tuning levels. Map is still used just for idle and EGR control. I wanted a 3 Bar sensor that fits my car, without soldering and tubing. The EVO 10 sensor seemed a perfect fit. I thought i will just google the map conversion table of the evo 10 sensor and wala. Since i was not able to find it, here is the solution to the problem:
First a big thanks to mrfred for pointing out the Map conversion tables in the Evo 9 firmware, this saved a lot of time in searching. Temperature sensors have quite big conversion maps, the rest are tiny an conceived. https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ec...evo-8-9-a.html
The main problem is that the evo 9 uses an 8 bit MAP conversion table, while the evo 10 uses the ADC values straight into the axes of the speed density tables, which are 16 bit. and of course the scaling and offset is quite different.

The rest of the values are to be setup as in mrfred thread, MAP vs BARO is approximately 69. I didn't made that up. This is in substance what you have to do, for a in depth explanation, read ahead:
Open an evo10 file and look at the map based load calculation table. The X axis can be viewed as unsigned 16 bit integer (what the ecu actually works with), pressure or ADC volts (what the AD converter actually sees at the analog input from the sensor).

The X axis is your MAP conversion table that needs to be converted to the Evo 9 8bit MAP table. The calculation process is self explanatory, if not , all the details are in the excell file. The adc to pressure factor was taken from Evoscan (0.01334).
I get 0.3 bar in deceleration, 0.5 bar at idle and 2.2 max boost in WOT (stock boost control). I am pretty confident that my calculations are correct, because it can regulate the idle like when it was stock (when i just swapped the sensors it started and died right away). If you find any mistakes in my calculations, your corrections will be very appreciated.
